The leaked photos from the Ministry of Industry of China of new Geely sedan have been going around the Internet, which is built on a joint platform with Volvo. The official premiere of the car will take place before the end of 2020.
The novelty will be the serial version of the Geely Preface concept car, presented in 2019 at the Shanghai Motor Show. At the moment, the commercial vehicle is known under the code designation FS11. At the heart of the news is the modular CMA platform, developed by Geely together with Volvo engineers. It became the basis, for example, for the compact crossover Volvo XC40, as well as for cars of the subsidiary brand Lynk & Co.
The length of the future Geely sedan will be 4785 mm, width 1869 mm and height 1469 mm. The wheelbase is 2800 mm. The sedan will be equipped with a two-liter supercharged four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 190 hp, which will be paired with a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
