Ford F-Series sales drop 1.4 percent, ending four year growth streak in 2019

The legendary F-Series sales are down 1.4 percent to 896,526 vehicles in 2019 from 909,330 in the preceding year. Despite this hiccup, it still ranks as top selling vehicle overall in US.

Ford F Series is the king of the American automotive market, remaining in number one position in overall vehicle sales since 1986, and number one selling pick-up truck since 1977. It starts at $28,496 and comes in six different type of engines 3.5L EcoBoost + High-Out, 3.0L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel, 2.7L Turbocharged EcoBoost, 5.0L V8 and finally 3.3L V6.


In the Canadian market, the sales declined for two consecutive years, but not by a significant margin in 2019, selling 145,210 vehicles, a drop of only 0.33 from previous year.
