Fiat Chrysler group to donate more than 1 million masks per month to combat coronavirus

FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) announced on March 23 that it will produce and donate more than 1 million masks per month in response to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The announcement aims to help people at the forefront of the spread of the coronavirus. FCA will begin producing masks in the coming weeks and deliver them to the United States, Canada and Mexico.

FCA-produced masks will be donated to police, fire departments, hospitals and medical clinics. FCA will leverage its production, supply chain and engineering expertise to support a global battle against the pandemic of the new coronavirus.

The FCA is working through government and municipal authorities to ensure that donated masks are distributed to the people and facilities that need them most. In addition, the FCA will announce further actions related to the fight against the coronavirus.

“Protecting our first responders and health care workers has never been more important,” said FCA CEO Mike Manley.
