Does the Chrysler Town and Country have Android Auto?

The Chrysler Town and Country is a popular minivan known for its spacious interior and practicality. However, one feature that it lacks is support for Android Auto. Android Auto is a system that allows drivers to connect their Android smartphones to their car’s infotainment system, enabling them to access navigation, music, and other apps on their phone through the car’s display. Unfortunately, the Town and Country does not have this capability built in, and as such, you will need to use an aftermarket multimedia system if you want to use Android Auto in your vehicle.

There are a few different options for aftermarket multimedia systems that support Android Auto. One popular option is to install a head unit that has Android Auto built-in. These head units are designed to replace the factory radio in your Town and Country and can be purchased from various online retailers. They typically include a display screen and control buttons that allow you to access the Android Auto interface and interact with the apps on your phone.

Another option is to use a wireless Android Auto adapter. These adapters connect to your phone wirelessly and then transmit the Android Auto interface to your car’s factory radio. This can be a more affordable option than replacing the head unit, and it’s also a good option if you want to keep the factory look of your Town and Country.

When you install an aftermarket multimedia system that support Android Auto, you can enjoy many of the benefits of the system in your Town and Country. For example, you can use Google Maps for navigation, play music from popular streaming services like Spotify, and receive and make calls and text messages all with your voice.

Overall, while it is unfortunate that the Chrysler Town and Country does not support Android Auto, there are still options available for those who want to enjoy this feature in their vehicle. Whether you choose to install a new head unit or use a wireless adapter, you can easily add Android Auto to your Town and Country and enjoy a more connected and convenient driving experience.
