Best electric cars in Europe that do not give range anxiety on highways

The days when electric cars were only useful for short urban journeys are almost behind us. Manufacturers strive to increase the range of the batteries of their models, which is the biggest objection against electric vehicles, so soon this mobility without emissions can also dominate interurban roads.

Although prices are still relatively high, but the government incentives to buy these cars makes it somewhat affordable. Due to these subsidies, an increasing number of affordable models with high performance are joining the growing list of EVs. At the moment, these are the ten electric cars with which more miles you can travel without stopping to recharge the batteries.

Tesla Model S

It is not surprising to see Tesla on the first (and second) place. The Model S has two versions with different battery range, 593 and 610 kilometers, for 87,800 and 104,700 euros.

Tesla Model 3

We continue with the EV manufacturer offering excellent range with Model 3 of at least 490 kilometers in its cheapest version, and priced at 49,000 euros. It reaches 530 kilometers for Long Range version, priced at 65,300 euros.

Hyundai Kona E

The third place is for a much more affordable model, since it sells for 32,850 euros. It is one of the best electric cars of 2020 and can reach 482 kilometers on a single charge.

Jaguar I-Pace

At fourth place is Jaguar priced at 87,570 euros. Apart from its benefits and its off-road capabilities, it has 480 kilometers of range.

Porsche Taycan

Almost all major car firms have launched electric models and Porsche is not far behind. With this sports model between 388 and 412 kilometers of range is possible. The bad, the price: it is available from 108,337 euros.

Kia e-Niro

Good as a hybrid and as an electric, the e-Niro slips into sixth place with a minimum price of 32,800 euros. It can run for 455 kilometers on a single charge with its largest battery model, which costs from 35,000 euros.

Kia e-Soul

We continue with the South Korean brand, which presents this urban crossover in two versions. With its highest capacity battery, you can travel 452 kilometers on a single charge and it costs from 41,515 euros.

Mercedes EQC

This compact SUV is the first electric vehicle of the German brand and its price starts from 77,425 euros. It can travel 416 kilometers without recharging.

Audi e-Tron

It has remained one of the most talked about EV past year. The four-ring has two versions with battery range of of 336 and 400 kilometers. Its price started at 72,980 euros.

Renault Zoe

Unexpected, but this small French urban car has managed to sneak into the ranking occupying the last position. Its price is minimum 21,667 euros and Renault offers the option to rent or buy the battery, to lower the cost. It travels up to 395 kilometers on a single charge.
