The SUV is a complete success for the British luxury firm.
Time passes very quickly, of that there is no doubt. It seems like yesterday when we learned that Bentley would build an SUV, but in reality, the British luxury firm has already been manufacturing the Bentayga since the beginning of 2016.
Luckily, what was once seen as a controversial decision was a great commercial success, since more than 20,000 copies have been sold since then, while the family has expanded to several different versions and an infinity of customization possibilities.
Among the most outstanding versions are the Bentayga, Bentayga V8, Bentayga Speed, Bentayga Diesel and Bentayga Hybrid, which ensures that there is a version for almost any possible buyer, of course, as long as they have enough capital to be able to acquire it.
If those versions of the Bentayga are too “common,” Bentley has also offered several special editions. There was the Pikes Peak edition, as well as a Stetson with a touch of Texan flair. And we cannot forget the Bentayga Mulliner.
According to Bentley, the development of this SUV was the most comprehensive and longest-running program in the history of the firm since it took place on five continents. Plain and simple, they couldn’t afford to fail.
