On a long trip I noticed that the ventilation was not working properly. It was climatically very uncomfortable in the car because there was simply no air coming out of the nozzles. I stopped and switched off the engine. After a few minutes I am off again and the problem persists:

When I set MAX AC, the ventilation motor howls as usual, but nothing comes out of the nozzles. When I stand on my feet or windshield, nothing comes out. Sounds like one of the pipes is blocked. Was only once.

Funnily enough, it was gone the next morning. I noticed the whole thing again after a few weeks. And today it happened again, I could only drive with the windows open. After a short engine restart, no change, after a few hours everything went back to normal.

The dealer said that would be difficult, fault memory will probably be empty, will cost 45 euros. Then further research into what it is, that sounded expensive ...

Can anyone say anything about this? Thank you in advance!

We already had it, but our F34 went again the next day. From time to time the adjustment flaps hang up, we were informed by the authorized workshop.

It usually works again after 15 minutes. However, there are rare cases where the flaps really get stuck and then the dashboard has to be removed for a four-digit amount. In short, check off and park and wait the next time.

Incidentally, it got us from Italy with WW at 36 ° from the German border about 250 kilometers home. And we didn't know that waiting a little bit would solve the problem. We then chugged home with all the windows and sunroof open ...

Reading out fault memory would save me in your place now and only do further research if it occurs even more regularly ...

Funny, I had that for the first time last week after 90,000 km. Suddenly it became uncomfortably warm and even at the highest setting there was only a breeze from the nozzles. The next day everything was ok

In any case, the workshop would have to be able to control all flaps by diagnosis or carry out a new calibration run, in which case one could make a conclusive statement. An error memory entry would be interesting. It is over very quickly, it doesn't take long. The workshop should just disclose the resulting costs beforehand.

Best regards and good luck.
