Installing a subwoofer in a 2018 Jeep Compass

Hi, I have a Jeep Compass and a ma audio subwoofer and have little to no experience with electrical components. I don’t have an amp but hear you can do it without one. If anyone has any step by step instructions or images they can share please do.

Check crutchfield's website and if you buy products from them they give you step by step instructions. But be aware that FCA products don't like aftermarket parts on them.

Without an amp it’s next to impossible factory amps are not cut out for slaving a sub. You’re gonna need an amp that matches the impedance requirements of the sub. 2/4/8ohm. Don’t go sticking any sub on any amp. You’ll burn up an amp fast.
