I'm new to the Mazda community and I'm about to buy a Mazda CX8 SkyActiv 2.2 D in Japan. Various tuners such as Knight Sports, Ducks Garage etc. are represented in Japan, but there is no experience with regard to correct engine tuning except for map optimization. Means polishing heads, optimizing intake paths, exhaust system with more passage, more efficient etc. Also not to how many Nm the transmission can be kept etc. Are there any characteristic values or someone who is familiar with them?
