2009 Jeep Patriot, getting error P0456

I have a 2009 jeep Patriot, any advice chasing the problem?

Start by checking the gas cap is tight, sometimes the rubber seal wears out and has a small leak. Also any lines going to the tank. If you smell fuel it’s probably leaking somewhere. Could also be the charcoal canister.
