I'm currently 19 years old and have been thinking about what I want to get as a successor for my Peugeot 206CC with 109ps. Passionately drive a convertible and then want to get the Mazda MX-5 RF with 160ps in a year, I would only be interested in what needs to be considered, maintenance would also be important and what it would look like with spare parts, if anything, whether that was good and are not too expensive. I tested many cars and found Ford Puma really exciting. I thought about getting the Mazda 3 beforehand, but I prefer a convertible.

Would be nice to get some reports on the newer models.

The electrical roof construction of the MX-5 ND RF has so far been completely inconspicuous when it comes to defects, weak points and thus repairs. You don't read about problems.

I myself drive an MX-5 NC RC (the model with the electric roof mentioned above) and this model also has a completely problem-free roof construction. There are no general problems with this roof.

The maintenance costs of an MX-5 are at the low level of a Golf / Focus / etc. Everything very manageable.

You should only pay attention to rust or a subsequent rust prevention. And that an oil change was made regularly.

Have fun looking for the right car!
