Technically it is ok because it is not on the red BUT don't fall for that corporate back-covering.

Modern cars should be rock-solid at the middle of the scale after running for a while. By modern I mean anything equipped with and OBD port and by running I mean doing anything reasonable with your car.

If the temperature goes crazy too fast (less than 15 minutes from cold), you might consider the thermostat, which is likely your case.

If the temperature quickly stabilizes from a cold start but keeps creeping upwards, you might suspect the water pump is bad or the presence of air pockets inside the coolant galleries.

Like all diagnosis, always check everything you can. Start with coolant level, coolant aspect, check for leaks, check pump belt, check heat gradient, check radiator blow-by, compare dash indication with a thermometer reading, check all fan stages, remove foreign objects from the radiator fins.

It's within operable range, especially for an old car with the AC on in the heat . Looks a bit high though.

No, no, no, no and no. Bruh stop giving advice, you are an idiot.

Op check your thermostat and hoses or for any leaks but let the car cool down.

I just replaced the thermostat a couple months ago and had my water pump replaced also because it was leaking, my fans don’t seem to be turning on by themselves only when I turn the ac on which I rarely do because I have an exhaust leak.

If its not climbing and it stays there , it is in the normal range. The car isn't new and replacing everything will cost way more than what the car is worth. There is a reason Toyota made a certain section of the gauge red. I've had many cars that would run hot, especially old and tired. Don't know why the down votes, look up the original owners manual. The dude replaced everything and its still running hot.

That’s way to high especially with a Camry of that era , the alloy heads prone to failure. Sort it out before it costs the car.

Feel the top and bottom hose after running for 5 min , if they are over 10 degrease difference replace
-water pump belt
-thermostat
-coolant

Make sure your fans are coming on also

Check your oil. is it milky you have a breach in your head-gasket. Does it bubble when you open the water lid? Then you have a breach in the headgasket. If none of the above you might need to change the thermostat. Is it along time since the waterpump was changed?

Changed them both recently.

Time to check your coolant levels! (After you let your car sit over night)

Way too hot. You have a problem. Fix it before the head gasket forces you to.
