So to my problem. Have been driving a W212 220 BlueTec from 2013 for almost 3 years.
My problem is that I have a sporadic error in the system that the vehicle sometimes starts but after a short time (just 3-5 seconds) it turns off on its own. This process is repeated up to three times. Then I leave the car for a few minutes and try to start again and the car starts without problems. I changed relay terminal 50 for starter, because I had the suspicion that it could possibly have to do with it. Unfortunately not.
Had the ignition lock sent in with the engine control unit, that wasn't the fault either. Read out with the Xentry diagnosis - it shows me any errors that all lead to the central gateway. Like front door right / left. , Multifunction camera, fully integrated transmission control, etc pp.
"Communication with the central gateway is malfunctioning"
As a precaution, I had wanted to make myself smart here on the platform, but somehow none of this got me anywhere. Anyone any idea how I should go about it and how I can finally eliminate this mistake ?!
