I have no direct problem but I want to expand my knowledge here.

Part 1: So the question arises whether there is experience or a reference, how much power a new compressor of the air suspension has and when it could be said - "The part has had its day".

Clear key data for me are 16Bar it must bring and that as soon as possible.

But!:

How much liter capacity does the compressor have when delivered? Is there a data sheet?

Because I can reach the 16Bar in the pressure accumulator, for example, in 60sec, or stop in 200sec. Maybe someone did a log trip with a new compressor?

Part 2: Has anyone ever thought of supplying the compressed air system with a 200 / 300Bar diving bottle? There are so small 5 liter bottles which could be integrated into the system via a pressure reducer.

So 16 bar is the nominal pressure of the tank, I also have the "connection kit" in it and so far it was max. 13 bar, but often only 8-9 bar on the container. I would also be interested in how long the compressor should take to reach maximum pressure. I "only" changed the piston sealing ring on my compressor, since it had barely been able to pump the thick one up, but maybe somehow a new one has to be inserted?

I have of course already installed the filling kit :)

So I've made two log trips recently, and if the memory was empty, it was filled up to 16bar. Of course, only if 50km / h were exceeded. Vehicle was on NN.

I have already filled the memory via VCDS and had to find out that it was over at 12Bar, although the compressor only loads 4 or 5 clocked cylinders anyway. Then you have to start over.

Anyone have comments or ideas?

The control unit only fills the air tank as much as it needs to operate the respective stage that has just been driven.

I've never had 16 bars, not even with a new compressor.

You can fill the compressor yourself with the basic setting, this will then end when 12 bar is reached
