I have the YY50QT scooter. I have the problem that the complete lighting does not work, low beam, parking light, rear light and the right brake light switch do not work. The turn signals and brake light switch on the left work perfectly. I have no power supply at the connector to the light switch and therefore no power supply at the lights. The generator charges at about 14V at high speed. The battery is 1 year old and discharged. The ground lines on all lamps are OK. Maybe someone has the solution to my problem?

If part of the lighting works and the LiMa is charging, I suspect that your scooter was parked outside for a while. It would be conceivable that one or more lines are oxidized and thus offer too high resistance. As a result, switches will not work properly or not at all. Either you work with a line as a bridge and see if you improve the result or you really measure the lines individually. A circuit diagram can be helpful.

Thanks for answer. I have now bluntly given the ignition switch to the light switch. Works flawlessly.

The driving lights (low beam) on your scooter are supplied with AC voltage (setting AC V on the multimeter). Only the headlight flasher (via the high beam filament) - if present on the scooter - is supplied with DC voltage from the battery.

The high beam (high beam filament) is also operated with AC voltage during normal driving, which is why the up / down switch and the flasher button on scooters with AC driving lights are usually one unit - high beam position with AC V and headlights with DC V cannot be switched on at the same time (high beam switch position takes place upwards, flasher button downwards).

PS: The limiter power of your scooter is not sufficient to supply the driving lights with direct current for a long time. The battery is discharged and after a while the headlights fail. You also have to do without the convenience of the e-starter because the battery will soon weaken. :(

Check all plug connections. I also had a similar problem and that was the plug connection behind the front paneling.

I took the connection out and soldered everything firmly, since then I do not have any problems.
