I have the following problem and last week I bought a Combo C 1.7DI with the Y17DTL engine. So I can not say so much about the car, except that the heating does not work. I drove about 30km yesterday and more than a breath of warm air did not arrive, it didn't matter whether the blower was set to 1 or 4. The engine temperature gauge showed approximately 88 degrees. Then I checked the cooling water at home, but apart from the fact that it looks a little dirty, I couldn't find anything. The hoses on the cooling water tank and cooler were warm, if not hot. There was no pressure on the expansion tank when I screwed it on.

I saw a post about C Corsa and came across the heat exchanger. Is the C Combo also in the interior or can I get there through the engine compartment?

See if the hose that goes into the interior gets warm.

Alternatively, follow these brief instructions for the heat exchanger:

1. Remove various covers in the footwell on the passenger side, and the heat exchanger is already visible.

2. Loosen the screw connections of the pipes (connection to the WT and fastenings of the pipes)

3. Pull the lines out of the WT and collect the cooling water (not very much, only from the lines and the WT)

4. Pull the WT out or check for rattling.

Installation, of course, in the reverse order, using new seals for the pipe connections, refill the coolant and bleed the cooling system (with my 1.3 cdti, this works almost automatically)
