I built a new exhaust for my girlfriend, completely from flexible pipe to end silencer. I have to say I am extremely disappointed. The new one is so loud, and I think the car has no real power anymore.

Now to my problem, the original exhaust had a real middle silencer, the new one only a continuous pipe to the end silencer. Have I installed the wrong one now? Because I can not find an exhaust with middle silencer .. can you help me or is there simply no more middle silencer for the car? As I said with the new exhaust, the car is louder (it is also tight) than with the broken exhaust. My car is Ford Fiesta Mk7 1.4 97PS.

Both versions are available, with and without dampers (among other things, it depends on the year of manufacture), you can still buy both versions from Ford.

You now have one silencer less, which automatically makes it louder. The question would be whether it sounds wrong? Which brand did you use? With cheap ones from the Internet this can happen. If it is too strong (especially the loss of performance) you should complain to the seller and try to return it.

I think the brand is Pedol or something, as I said before there was a middle silencer but I can't find an exhaust like it. I don't want a sports exhaust, I want the Fiesta to go quietly, whereby the Fiesta noise has always been bit on the higher side.
