Audi A6 1.8 T automatic - transmission spins

I just drove home when I noted that my indicator on the speedometer had started to flash red. The gearbox did not cause any problems at first. Everything as always. Then when I wanted to park the car and put in the neutral, it suddenly pushed on and was flooded.

Does anyone happen to know the problem? I'm semi motivated to keep driving the car.

Have the fault memory read out. The flashing display only indicates the emergency operation of the gearbox, which can have many causes.
