Maybe someone has an idea: from 70 km / h it buzzes from the A pillar. The service appointment is a month away, I can't wait that long, the noise makes me crazy. Pressed here and there, that doesn't change anything. Please help.

For me it creaks from the left front. Especially at the start of the journey and hard steering locks.

Tesla suspected the suspension, but found that it is the left seat when it is all the way down and in the end position in the back. After the workshop appointment last week, unfortunately, no improvement and no response from Tesla. New appointment made in the app.

Now the seat is not quite in the end positions and the annoying creaking is back.

My mother had a problem with the windscreen in the Volvo three years ago. I described sounds from the A-pillar to the workshop (it was my job to hand over the car when I was visiting and could have sworn by the A-pillar - as if something rustled and moved loosely in the pillar and constantly from the inside strikes).

The pane had very fine cracks (I think 5) in the glass in the area of the pane surround - only visible when the workshop foreman illuminated it from different positions. Maybe you can see something there?

Could it possibly be the front speaker cover towards the window? Press on it and see if the noise is gone? In another case, I have heard that it was the front wheel arch trim that knocked / vibrated inside the sheet metal. Tesla has saved various clips here (so don't be surprised when you look, if there are openings - this is the case with all Model 3), something may expand due to the warmer temperatures and then generate noise from the game.

Some sounds can actually have a completely different source than you would expect from the direction.

In my Mercedes, the squeak in the B-pillar was the parcel shelf. But here it comes from another position from the A pillar. The microphone of my phone is not good enough for that, the wind and rolling noises are too loud. But now rattles in the passenger door when things get a bit lumpy. A paved, traffic-calmed area is sufficient for this. Could only upset me, but it wasn't better with the Benz. They have service for that.

Are you sure there is no wind noise?

Because I have already noticed them from the A-pillar area. My Volvo (convertible!) Was quieter in the area. Due to the glass roof, however, there is also a lack of insulation material in the interior.

Quite because they are, so to speak, "extra". But what I think is possible that the wind causes them, we say in the wheel arch, but from the inside it sounds like A pillar. Something like that is difficult to locate. At Daimler the master drove a lap and directly named the real culprit. Here I feel a little left alone by Tesla. SeC appointment in September, but maybe the bodyshop can serve with experience. Who knows.

You can at least go directly to a Tesla certified bodyshop of your choice ( list with search function ) for paint and sheet metal work . They will then contact you directly with Tesla and regulate, for example, the procurement of parts or the assumption of costs (in the event of a guarantee). The problem discussed here is more of a problem for the SeC because it is likely to come from the interior or other attachments.

For a few weeks now I have also heard noises from the window or door area of my copy. Mainly passenger side, but sometimes also from the driver side.

I couldn't pinpoint the sounds exactly yet.

Of course, only if I drive on rough roads. Which is usually the case in one of my rural areas ...: D

Not really loud now, but annoying in the long run. Does anyone have an idea?

I would first clean the seals in the area and then rub them with rubber care products.
