My 2019 Nissan Pathfinder gas lid

My gas lid actuator works with locking but the lid seams like its no catching to stay closed what can I do to fix the issue or do I probably need to change out the actuator all together

The actuator controls the locking mechanism, but it does not actually hold the lid closed. It is possible that the gas lid is not properly aligned, or that there is a problem with the latch. A Nissan dealer or a qualified mechanic would be able to inspect the gas lid and determine the cause of the problem.
