Car starts fine but wont start immediately after shutting off, why?

2010 3.0 litre tribute starts fine but when shut off wont go cranks but no start

The engine has to be throwing codes when that happens. Connect an OBDII diagnostic device and scan for codes. That's the proper way to do it, otherwise you would just be guessing.
