My 2018 Audi Q5 technik driver window does not open.

Question

The Motor clicks and slightly jerks the glass and the light on the button dim a bit because of the load on the motor.  Anybody know what could be the problem please???  I purchased this vehicle 2 months ago and last week I took it for a car wash before snow fall.  Would this be an issue of water ingress??

Something could be stuck in the window regulator assembly or there is problem with the motor itself. You will have to open the driver's door panel and investigate. Since the motor is trying to move the window, it means the switches are working properly.

Many thanks for your response.  Do you think I can do this??  Or should I take it to Audi mechanic?? Any idea how much it would  cost??

Maybe. This video explains how to remove the driver's door panel in 2018 Audi Q5. Go through it and see if you can do it yourself.
