How to disable mirror closing when locking the car (Renault Kadjar 2016)?

The mirrors close and open each time the car is locked and unlocked. This is not good in winter when the car is frozen, the mirror mechanism quickly breaks down. There is no option in the control panel to disable the folding mirrors. Renault Kadjar 2016m 1.2, 96kw

Disable the "goodbye function" in the instrument cluster display settings of your Renault Kadjar.

From the multifunction screen, select menu “vehicle”, “User settings” then “External welcome”. Choose “OFF” to deactivate the function.

This doesn't work. They keep opening  and closing when I don't want them too. Is there another way. Can I take a fuse out?

Not that I can see - Mirror motor fuse is shared with other functions :(
