Car has white smoke out of tailpipe when  idle or accelerating . Going up hill or incline erratic jump up speed especially if on cruise control almost lost control going over a bridge. Leaving stop sign or light super slow to accelerate and will eventually kick in a gear to move but once driving it becomes seemingly smooth but idle it shakes, especially after bad Regular gas a month ago but ran out of tank and put Heet in tank to clean out and other additives later. OBD checks misfires in Cylinder 7 and 5 but have not changed spark plugs since purchase of 08 Chevy avalanche lt.  Are o2 sensors bad but just no code? Is catalytic converter clogged? How to clean if so? Maybe MAF is dirty or need to be replaced? If spark plugs are a little wet too then what ? How many O2 sensors on 2008 Chevy Avalanche Lt 5.3 L?  Check engine light is flashing daily and oil gauge was changed from too low and not moving to going to 70-80 while driving. It never runs hot and everything else is good. New transmission rebuild a few months ago 269K miles on it. No problems until bad gas so cant use E85 anymore or else it sputters horribly only regular now but it is flex fuel capable.  Codes are 0307, po300 and po305.  Fuel seems ok. As a female, I keep my cars maintenanced but don't know what happened here . I can't afford  a new car or engine now.

White smoke from tailpipe means coolant is leaking into the combustion chambers, blue smoke means oil leak, black smoke means engine is running rich. Since yours is white smoke, its the coolant leaking, which can happen due to a blown head gasket. Does the coolant level go down in the coolant bottle?

You can pull the plugs, pressurize the cooling system and see if there’s any coolant going into the cylinder.
