How do I exit valet mode with a 2011 GMC Terrain Keyless Entry Remote Key w/ Engine Start that has no "trunk" button?

I bought a used 2011 GMC Terrain and suspect I may have accidentally set the valet mode as the remote lock and unlock buttons still work.

Try this: 

1. Insert your vehicle's key into the ignition and fully start the engine.
2. Press and release the foot brake pedal 10 times within 10 seconds.
3. If you see/hear two parking light flashes/clicks, you have exited valet mode.
4. Remove the key from the ignition and attempt to remote start your vehicle.
