What causes check engine light to come on in Mazda3?

I have a new battery, new starter & 2 new sensors. What else could it be?

I just got gas & check engine light appeared. WHY?

Engine check light can illuminate for a variety of reasons. The best way to know what is wrong is to connect OBD2 scanner to your vehicle and scan for fault codes.
