Buick Encore alarm keeps coming on and car won't start

Open the door and the alarm starts. I can normally put key in ignition and start it to turn alarm off, but when I try to start, it doesn't make any sound. I've unplugged my battery to try and reset it and I changed my key fob battery too.

Have you tried your spare key fob to start your vehicle? You may need to program your key fob again to your vehicle. Watch this video to see how to do it in Buick vehicles:
