Price of car ac compressor? - 2008 Saturn

2008 Saturn AC doesn't cool, but car doesn't over heat. What could the reason be? If it is the compressor, how much do those usually run?

Have you checked the refrigerant pressure? It could be a refrigerant leak and your compressor may be fine. The compressor costs about $250.
