Difference between Ford Europe and Ford USA?

Ford comes from the USA but what do they do differently in Europe, how are they built differently?

Ford USA mainly builds for the US market while Ford Germany builds for the European market? As far as I know, pickups are only built in the USA - the market for the parts is also there. The respective models are sometimes not even available in the other markets, so you have to import them yourself because importing little quantities would not be worthwhile for the manufacturer.

Well, it's not that different. Ford has long tried its hand at world cars. The current Mondeo first came as a merger in the USA, the Focus was in both places, even as the ST and RS, and even the Fiesta made it to the States.

But the Edge and finally the Mustang appeared here.

In the decades that they are already present in Cologne and Saarlouis, Ford has adjusted very much to European tastes.
